Instead, MLB began to focus more on data distribution deals such as this one with Swish Analytics. However, no state to date has included such a provision in final legislation, largely because it would significantly undercut the already tight margins for sportsbooks. They will also be working together to release interactive MLB applications using the real-time prediction platform developed by Swish Analytics. This partnership will see the two groups work together in a bid to increase fan engagement across MLB’s digital platforms. The company aims to ensure that theirįull suite of pre-match, in-play and at-bat betting products defines the next generation of engagement for MLB fans.” Official service providerĪnother part of this partnership agreement sees Swish Analytics become an official service provider to the league. Swish Analytics already operates in the sports betting space as an oddsmaker and for the provision of gaming data services.īobby Skoff, who co-founded Swish Analytics in 2014, spoke about how this data distribution deal is part of their overall expansion plans in the US sports betting space. Sportradar AG and the Perform Group are the two other authorized distributors. This multiyear partnership allows the California-based technology company to supply MLB’s official real-time betting data feed to licensed sports betting operators across the United States. Swish Analytics has become the third authorized sports betting data distributor for Major League Baseball (MLB).
